COMMANDER (FRONT)
Each Commander front size uses a unique
combination of profile and casing design. |
COMMANDER (REAR)
Aramid belts under the tread control
centrifugal growth better than fiberglass belts. |

- Designed specifically for American big twins
- Developed and tested by and for American
riders, with more than half-a-million miles of testing on American
roads.
- Size-specific design: Each front
Commander tire size employs a unique combination of profile and
casing design. The Commander is tailored to the unique handling
characteristics of each bike for which it's designed.
- Rayon carcass plies instead of
polyester, for a remarkably compliant ride and stable handling.
- Aramid belts in the rear Commander,
instead of cheaper fiberglass. Aramid controls the centrifugal
growth of the tire better, resulting in a larger contact patch,
greater traction and even wear.
- Higher-density cord count in the rear
Commander reduces deformation of the casing and increases puncture
resistance.
- Even the sidewalls have been styled to
complement the unique character of big twins. Distinctive
"reversed" sidewall markings read rightside-up when at
bottom dead center.
- The latest generation of rubber compound, to
optimize grip on wet or dry roads.
- Tread pattern combines good looks with
excellent water evacuation, even wear patterns, and resistance to
wandering over rain grooves.
